Kathrine and Jack’s summer wedding at Mere Brook House on the Wirral was full of laughter, emotion, and unforgettable moments. As their wedding photographer, I loved capturing the relaxed, unposed feel of the day while highlighting all the little details that made it truly theirs.

  • The morning was full of excitement as Kathrine and her bridesmaids got ready, laughing and helping each other with hair, dresses, and final touches. One particularly special moment was the letter Kathrine had written for Jack—he got to read it before the ceremony, and the emotion on his face was priceless. Meanwhile, the groomsmen and bridesmaids were having a blast taking silly poses in the group shots, which added so much personality to the gallery.

The ceremony itself flowed beautifully, and afterwards we headed to the steps down to the lawn for some confetti shots. Guests lined up on either side, throwing confetti as Kathrine and Jack came down, creating that joyful, celebratory energy that makes wedding photography so fun. We also managed a big group shot on the steps with everyone gathered together, giving a classic but impactful memory of all their loved ones in one frame.

Mere Brook House is a photographer’s dream: the elegant architecture, sweeping gardens, and grand staircase offered countless opportunities for portraits and candid moments alike. From outdoor shots in the sunshine to relaxed moments inside the house, every corner of the venue added its own charm to the photos.

The day continued with more laughter, hugs, and dancing, and it was such a joy to capture the spirit of Kathrine and Jack’s wedding—from the emotional letter to the playful group shots, the confetti celebrations, and the grand family portraits. The images tell a story of love, fun, and heartfelt connections that will last a lifetime.
