Some weddings just have that feeling from the moment you arrive, and Dee & Luke’s day at The Barn at Yew Tree Farm in Liverpool was exactly that — full of warmth, laughter, and the kind of styling that made every corner look picture-perfect.

The barn was dressed so beautifully for the ceremony, with pale blue touches running through the details. Guests filled the room with smiles, and the atmosphere was so relaxed and happy. Dee and Luke couldn’t stop grinning at each other — the kind of moments I love to capture with a candid, documentary approach.

And then came the confetti… what a moment! White confetti everywhere, floating perfectly through the air — and of course, some of it went straight into mouths, which had everyone in stitches. Those little, unplanned bits of the day are always my favourites.

The reception room at the Barn at Yew Tree Farm looked amazing. Pale blue and white styling carried through into the table décor, and it all sat so well against the rustic barn backdrop. It felt elegant but still relaxed — exactly the kind of atmosphere Dee & Luke wanted for their guests.

Laughter filled the speeches (and a few happy tears too), and by the evening, the dance floor was buzzing. One of my favourite parts was watching the bridesmaids grab their phones to record the first dance — it was such a fun, modern twist and really showed how much everyone was caught up in the moment.

Dee & Luke’s wedding at The Barn at Yew Tree Farm was such a joy to photograph. The styling was beautiful, the laughter was infectious, and the whole day just felt so warm and full of love. Liverpool barn wedding photography is amongst some of my favourites.
