If you’re searching for wedding photography prices in Liverpool, you’re probably trying to work out two things at once: what things actually cost, and whether the photographer feels like someone you’d trust on your wedding day.

Most pricing pages are either painfully vague or somewhat salesy. This page sits somewhere more useful in the middle. It explains how my wedding photography pricing works, what influences the cost, and how to choose coverage that makes sense for your day — without pressure, gimmicks, or pretending it’s all just about cameras.

Wedding Photography Prices (The Short Version)
My wedding photography coverage starts at £750, with full‑day coverage priced at £1,250.
Rather than offering dozens of confusing options, I keep things simple. Coverage is based on how long you need and how your day is structured, so you’re paying for something that actually fits rather than padding you don’t want.
If you’d like to see a full breakdown of packages and exactly what’s included, you can view my wedding photography prices and packages here.
I take on a limited number of weddings each year to keep coverage relaxed and personal, so popular spring and summer dates can book up quickly. A 15% deposit secures your date.
Why Wedding Photography Prices Vary
Even with a simple package structure, no two wedding days run the same way.
I don’t offer dozens of different packages. I offer three. What varies is how much coverage couples actually need within those options, and how their day is shaped.
Pricing is influenced by things like:
How long I’m there on the day
Whether your wedding is short and focused or full‑day and fast‑paced
Travel and logistics
The amount of editing involved afterwards
So while the packages themselves are fixed, the right package for you depends on how your day flows. This keeps things simple, transparent, and flexible without turning pricing into a complicated spreadsheet.
You’re not just booking hours of coverage. You’re booking planning support, calm problem‑solving, and careful editing so your photos feel natural and cohesive rather than rushed or overworked.
My Approach to Wedding Photography
I photograph weddings in a natural, documentary way. That means I blend in, observe, and let things unfold. Take a look at my wedding portfolio to see photograph galleries from different weddings I've shot.

I’ll guide you when it’s helpful, especially during couple portraits and group photos, but I won’t choreograph your day or interrupt moments just to create them.
This style suits couples who:
Feel awkward in front of the camera
Don’t want forced poses
Care more about atmosphere than perfection

What You’re Really Paying For
Rather than listing features, it’s more useful to explain what couples actually get from wedding photography.
You’re paying for calm guidance before the day, the ability to adapt when timelines slip, and someone who knows when to step in and when to disappear. You’re paying for consistency, not just a handful of highlight images. And you’re paying for editing that keeps everything looking natural, cohesive, and true to how the day felt.
All of that sits behind every package, regardless of how many hours you choose. The exact inclusions live on my main prices and packages page, where everything is laid out clearly in one place.
How My Wedding Photography Packages Work
Instead of endless add‑ons and upgrades, my packages are built around how weddings actually unfold.
Some couples only need a few hours around the ceremony. Others want the full story, from morning prep through to the first dance. My packages reflect that, with shorter coverage for smaller days and full‑day options for weddings with more moving parts.
All packages include planning support, careful editing, and a documentary approach that focuses on real moments rather than staged ones.
You can see the full details of each package, including what’s included and current pricing, on my main wedding photography prices page.
Albums, Prints & After the Wedding
Most couples don’t want to make decisions about albums and prints before they’ve even seen their photos.
That’s why everything related to albums, framed prints, and keepsakes is optional and handled after your wedding. You can take your time, choose what actually suits your home, and decide whether you want a physical reminder of the day or prefer to keep things digital.
There’s no pressure to add anything on upfront, and no need to decide before you know what your photos look like.
Frequently Asked Questions
Payments & Deposits
How do I pay? Can I split payments?
All invoices appear in your secure, password-protected portal. You can pay in full or set up a self-managed payment plan, making it easy to spread the cost over time. As long as the total balance is paid two months before your wedding, everything is fine.
When is the deposit due and when does the balance need to be paid?
A 15% deposit is required to secure your wedding date. The remaining balance is due two months before your big day.
Booking and Availability
How far in advance should I book?
I take on a limited number of weddings each year to ensure relaxed, personal coverage. Popular dates can book quickly, so I recommend securing your Liverpool wedding photographer as early as possible.
Can I change packages after booking?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your package if your plans change. Since I only take one wedding per day, this is usually straightforward.
Coverage & Options
Do you offer shorter coverage or micro-weddings?
Yes. The Snapshot Package is ideal for shorter weddings, intimate celebrations, or micro-weddings. It provides focused coverage around your ceremony and key moments.
Can we add an engagement shoot?
Yes. The Epic Story Package includes an engagement shoot in Liverpool or nearby areas (up to 10 miles). Engagement shoots can also be added to other packages if desired.
How do you decide which package suits our day?
It depends on the length and style of your wedding day. Shorter coverage suits intimate or micro-weddings, while full-day coverage is best if you want a complete documentary story from prep to first dance. I’ll help guide you during the enquiry stage so you pick the package that fits your day perfectly.
Gallery & Delivery
How soon will we get sneak peeks or the full gallery? You’ll receive a sneak peek within 72 hours. The full, edited gallery is normally delivered within four to six weeks.
Can family/friends access photos? Yes. You can invite friends and family to view your online gallery directly.
Are prints/albums included or optional? Prints, albums, and keepsakes are optional. You can order these through your online gallery once your photos are delivered, or from another provider if you prefer.
Booking & Next Steps
If you’d like to check availability or talk through your plans, get in touch and tell me a bit about your day. I’ll confirm whether your date is free and help you decide which package makes sense for you. I've also written a blog about the booking process, with a downloadable timeline to learn more.
