I arrived rather flustered to photograph Michelle and Chris' wedding at the Hard Days Night Hotel in Liverpool 😅 I'd been crossing the road in Liverpool to head to the Hard Days Night Hotel, cameras hanging from both shoulders, large camera bag on my back, when all of a sudden... SPLAT! An almighty seagull had poo'd all down my arm, thankfully missing my cameras and clothing. I managed to rush into a local bar and they kindly allowed me to wash it off, much to the amusement of a hen party in there 😂 Anyway, muck for luck as they say!
When I arrived, I headed up to the John Lennon suite to capture the bride and bridesmaids getting ready. There was such a lovely atmosphere in there. Loads of energy and laughs between everyone, which I love as a wedding photographer as it's perfect for trying to capture the raw emotions of the day.
After I'd photographed their ceremony, I took Michelle and Chris away for 20 minutes to get some lovely newlywed portraits on the balcony of the hotel. There is also a spiral staircase which we got some pictures on too. Shortly after they had their speeches and cut their cake, followed by their first dance.
