Natural and unposed wedding photography at St George's Hall and Kabannas, Liverpool

20th September 2025
When the rain pours, but love (and laughter) pour harder.
Ella & Adam’s wedding at St George’s Hall, Liverpool was full of joy from start to finish — a rainy autumn day that proved nothing can dampen a celebration when two people are surrounded by love and laughter.
The autumn palette suited the day perfectly: soft greens, burnt oranges, and Ella’s stunning green bridal dress that looked incredible against the season’s colours.
One of my favourite moments? When Adam accidentally said the wrong name (his name) during the ceremony — a split second of shock followed by the whole room bursting into laughter. Those are the moments I love most — real, unposed, and full of personality ✨
Even with the rain pouring down, St George’s Hall was as stunning as ever. The grand architecture and sheltered pillars meant we could still make the most of the outdoors.
Afterwards, we headed to Kabannas in Liverpool for their wedding reception. Most of us arrived drenched thanks to the great British weather, but we soon dried off. Family had decorated the basement room - it looked fantastic, really cosy and rustic. Shortly after their speeches, I photographed their cake cutting and first dance, before everyone took to the
dancefloor to party!
What did Ella and Adam say about their wedding photography experience?
"Thank you so much for being our wedding photographer ❤️ you did an amazing job! I keep looking back over the photos and expect i will for a long time 🥺❤️"
