Relaxed and timeless, winter wedding photography at Statham Lodge, Cheshire
1st November 2025
As a wedding photographer in Cheshire, I loved capturing Leah and Scott’s winter wedding at Statham Lodge. Their Statham Lodge wedding was a cosy, magical affair — November rain set the mood outside, and by twilight it was pitch black after the ceremony, making the lodge’s warm interiors even more inviting.
The day began in a bright, airy bridal prep room, full of floor-to-ceiling windows and mirrors that filled the space with soft, natural light. This made capturing quiet, joyful moments a breeze — from Leah adjusting her dress to sharing laughs with her bridesmaids in their red dresses. As a Cheshire wedding photographer, I focus on authentic, relaxed moments that feel natural and unposed.
For the bride and groom portraits, we used a stunning window framed by indoor plants and fairy lights, creating an intimate, glowing backdrop. Statham Lodge’s fireplace added extra warmth and character, perfect for relaxed, authentic portraits that really capture the couple’s connection.
Even with the November evening closing in, we captured the full emotion of the day, from ceremony to indoor portraits. The lodge’s character, soft indoor lighting, and the couple’s genuine connection made for a timeless collection of wedding photographs that Leah and Scott will treasure forever.
