As a wedding photographer in Cheshire, I loved capturing Leah and Scott’s winter wedding at Statham Lodge. Leah and Scott’s Statham Lodge wedding in Cheshire was a cosy, magical affair. November rain set the mood outside, and by twilight, it was pitch black after the ceremony. 

The day began in a bright, airy bridal prep room, full of full-length windows and mirrors that filled the space with natural light. This made capturing those quiet, joyful moments as Leah got ready a breeze, from adjusting the dress to sharing laughs with her bridesmaids. When it came to the bride and groom portraits, we found a stunning window framed by plants on either side decorated with fairy lights, creating a warm, intimate backdrop. The lodge’s fireplace added a natural, glowing atmosphere, perfect for relaxed, authentic portraits.

Even with the November evening closing in, we captured the emotion of the day, from the ceremony to the indoor portraits. Statham Lodge’s character, the soft indoor light, and the couple’s connection made for a timeless collection of images that Leah and Scott will treasure forever.
