As a wedding photographer in the Wirral, I get to visit some stunning venues – and Brook Hall Hotel in Childer Thornton is definitely one of my favourites. Daisy and Callum’s wedding here was everything you could hope for: relaxed, joyful, full of laughter, and blessed with perfect weather from start to finish.
I joined Daisy in the morning as she got ready with her bridesmaids. There’s always something special about capturing those quiet (and sometimes chaotic!) moments before the ceremony – and this one was full of genuine emotion, giggles and tears. I also visited Callum and his groomsmen playing a game of pool (with no white ball!). The atmosphere was lively, with plenty of banter and pre-ceremony nerves.
Being a wedding photographer at Brook Hall Hotel means making the most of its beautiful grounds and characterful interiors – and from the moment Daisy walked down the aisle to the last dance of the night, there was no shortage of incredible backdrops and emotional moments to capture.
The ceremony took place outside Brook Hall in it's gardens. Daisy and Callum kept things heartfelt but light – you could see how much they adore each other from the wedding photos I took. Their smiles were contagious and set the tone for the rest of the day.
Afterwards, we headed out into the gardens at Brook Hall Hotel for portraits and to say their vows privately to each other. The weather couldn’t have been better – warm, slightly breezy, and perfect for photos. The couple were so natural in front of the camera, and we had loads of fun creating relaxed, candid shots that really reflect their personalities.
The reception was a brilliant mix of heartfelt speeches and full-on laughter – the kind of vibe that makes you feel like part of the family. Daisy and Callum surrounded themselves with such a warm and welcoming group of people, and it really shows in the photos.
Their first dance at |Brook Hall Hotel was a beautiful moment – closely followed by a packed dance floor and some serious moves from the guests! It was one of those weddings where the good energy never dipped.
