Talia and James celebrated their wedding at the Grosvenor Pulford Hotel in Chester on a crisp, snowy spring day. I started in Talia’s suite, capturing her excitement and anticipation as she got ready. The room was full of joy and laughter, providing a perfect backdrop for relaxed, natural bridal prep photography in Chester.
Meanwhile, James was preparing in another suite, giving me the chance to document both sides of the wedding morning. Capturing the groom’s personality and emotions is just as important, helping to tell the full story of the day.
The ceremony was full of love, laughter, and happy tears. After the “I do’s,” we took group shots and romantic couple portraits in the stunning grounds of the Grosvenor Pulford Hotel. The speeches had everyone in stitches - especially the groomsmen’s infamous black tape moment! The evening concluded with the couple cutting their beautiful wedding cake under twinkling lights, followed by a lively first dance and celebrations on the dance floor.
The Grosvenor Pulford Hotel remains one of my favourite venues for wedding photography in Chester. Its elegant interiors, beautiful gardens, and unique features - like its bridges, ponds, and chandeliered staircases - create endless opportunities for natural and candid wedding photography.

"Gemma was absolutely brilliant from the second we enquired with her. Nothing was too much trouble. She offered various payment options to suit our budget and was in contact with us at various stages up to the wedding. A few weeks before the wedding she set up a chat with us and we felt so at ease, she took on board our ideas and made some suggestions that were even better. On the morning of the wedding we woke up to 4+ inches of snow and Gemma sent us messages right away to make sure we were at ease and not stressing. The photos are perfect and all of our guests have said how brilliant Gemma was on the day. We’ve recommended her to our friends who are getting married and we couldn’t have picked a better photographer."
