Talia and James got married at the Grosvenor Pulford Hotel in Chester on a chilly, snowy spring day. I first headed over to Talia's suite to capture her excitement while getting ready. The atmosphere was full of joy and anticipation, providing the perfect backdrop for some memorable wedding photography in Chester.
I also photographed James as he prepared in another suite at the Grosvenor Pulford Hotel, showcasing both sides of the wedding day preparations. Capturing the groom’s emotions and personality is just as important, giving a complete story of the day for the couple.
The ceremony was full of love and laughter, with happy tears and smiles all around. After the “I do’s,” we had time for group shots and some romantic couple portraits in the stunning grounds of the hotel. The speeches were hilarious—especially the groomsmen’s antics, with that black tape mishap stealing the show! The evening finished with the couple cutting their beautiful cake under twinkling lights, followed by a lively dance floor filled with smiles and celebration.
The Grosvenor Pulford Hotel is one of my favourite venues for wedding photography in Chester. Its gorgeous gardens and elegant interiors provide endless opportunities for capturing natural and beautiful moments. I can’t wait to return next year for more amazing weddings!

"Gemma was absolutely brilliant from the second we enquired with her. Nothing was too much trouble. She offered various payment options to suit our budget and was in contact with us at various stages up to the wedding. A few weeks before the wedding she set up a chat with us and we felt so at ease, she took on board our ideas and made some suggestions that were even better. On the morning of the wedding we woke up to 4+ inches of snow and Gemma sent us messages right away to make sure we were at ease and not stressing. The photos are perfect and all of our guests have said how brilliant Gemma was on the day. We’ve recommended her to our friends who are getting married and we couldn’t have picked a better photographer."
