Talia and James got married at the Grosvenor Pulford Hotel in Chester on a very chilly and snowy spring day. I firstly headed over to Talia's suite to capture her excitement whilst getting ready. The atmosphere was filled with joy and anticipation, making it a perfect setting for some memorable photographs.
In addition to capturing the bridal party, I also took the time to photograph James as he got ready in another suite at Grosvenor Pulford Hotel. It's great being able to showcase both sides of the wedding day preparations, highlighting the unique moments that each person experiences before the ceremony. The groom's preparations were just as important, and I aimed to reflect his personality and emotions through my lens.
The ceremony was beautiful. Lots of love and smiles to be seen all round. After the "I do's" we had some time for group shots and lots of couple shots in the stunning grounds of the hotel. Speeches were a laugh, especially from the groomsmen, that black tape being ripped off must have hurt! To finish the evening, the happy couple cut their gorgeous cake in front of some twinkling lights, and then took to the dance floor!
The Grosvenor Pulford Hotel is one of my favourite venues as a wedding photographer. There are so many different spots within the gardens to photograph some truly beautiful images. Can't wait to return next year for more weddings!

"Gemma was absolutely brilliant from the second we enquired with her. Nothing was too much trouble. She offered various payment options to suit our budget and was in contact with us at various stages up to the wedding. A few weeks before the wedding she set up a chat with us and we felt so at ease, she took on board our ideas and made some suggestions that were even better. On the morning of the wedding we woke up to 4+ inches of snow and Gemma sent us messages right away to make sure we were at ease and not stressing. The photos are perfect and all of our guests have said how brilliant Gemma was on the day.
